The Evolution of TRX : AeroFitness®

Invented by a former U.S. Navy SEAL, the TRX (short for total-body resistance exercise) turns every exercise into a challenge for your core by using two simple resources: gravity and your body weight. The first version of TRX used parachute webbing and a jiu-jitsu belt. The single-anchor, double-handle system makes for the perfect blend of stability and mobility. Through this mechanism, it challenges the stabilizer muscles of your own body to activate and adapt to inefficiency in a safe way. AeroFitness® uses parachute material and a triple anchor, six handle system also making for the perfect blend of stability and mobility challenging the stabilizer muscles of your own body to activate and adapt to many more positions than the single anchor. Both use your body weight and gravity to strengthen, tighten and tone or create a lithe body with much agility. This is why I see AeroFitness® as the evolution of TRX suspension training. AeroFitness suspension training is low-impact, like swimming. Your range of motion is more complete, more fluid, and you can build lean muscle while simultaneously gaining flexibility and mobility, like you would be able to do with yoga and pilates exercises, but more drastically. It is easy on the joints and reduces the risk of injury while still getting the heart rate up and burning calories.

You don't have the limitations of 90-degree angles and can expand in your space, utilizing muscles that traditional equipment won't reach or cultivate. *It's all about the core, all the time *Adaptable to all levels of mobility, ranging from someone in rehab to an Olympic athlete *You control the pace, the resistance and how far you push yourself *Build functional strength that applies to real life *AeroFitness will pick you up and take you further

I encourage you to try both methods and discover the difference.

"Your body tingles with energy, the mind quietly absorbed in the hypnotic rhythm of the practice. The poses are strung on the breath like prayer beads on a mala as you enter each one to the best of your ability, savoring the deep stretches, the pleasurable ache of muscles you forgot existed, pushed to their edge.” - Confessions of an AeroFitness®Trainer
