Using the AeroYoga® method is the most effective way to regenerate after endurance, strength training or simply after a hard day. Usually we have either our feet on the floor or our buttocks on a seat, while the head, as the highest point, tries to keep an eye on everyday life. All of this is literally "turned upside down" during a session.
The central element of a session is the gradual reversal (where the head is the lowest point on the body). Here, the blood can flow the other way round, which relieves the venous valves and at the same time leads to an increased oxygen supply for the brain. The brain saturated with oxygen has a positive influence on all systems of the organism, especially the cardiovascular and endocrine systems. Improvements in concentration and long-term memory were even found. Since the heart has to pump more, the heart muscles and thus the cardiovascular system are strengthened. Reverse postures are stimulating when you feel tired and soothing when you are nervous and restless. Slow and rhythmic movements in the comfortable hammock have a calming and regenerating influence on the nervous system so this is why it is considered physiotherapy in weightlessness.
