Entering "The Zone"

Many of us think that meditation is a process performed in a static posture, quietly sitting in the famous lotus position. But not always. The Kriyas are dynamic meditations which allow many people to enter states that are conducive to renewal. An example is the Whirling Dervishes, viewers are fascinated watching their endless twists and wonder how it is possible that these people continue to turn without apparent fatigue. The answer is that the dervishes enter the 'zone' by repeating the movement far from fatigue or wearing out, they enter a a physical-mental space of abstraction or dynamic meditation where there are no demands or questioning; this is also called an alpha state or self -hypnosis.
